xOARS is the first automated landing system implementing machine vision, thereby extending the bounds of UAV possibility!
Small, lightweight (3 oz.), and with minimal power requirements, xOARS can operate where GPS and Microwave landing systems cannot; and, this terminal guidance system is easily incorporated as either a primary or secondary landing system on existing airframes. Non-static objects? No problem. Our patented technology allows for unprecedented accuracy – within a 5-foot radius – even on moving platforms such as boats and vehicles.
The xOARS system comes complete with ground station camera, processing unit, and radio transmitter.
